Claudia, Client Advisor

"Speaking the customer's language. Even if they’re in Italy."

Time and Freedom for Client Relationships

"As a Client Advisor, I ensure that prospective new customers become familiar with Kleyn and then proceed to purchase a vehicle. I do this for the Spanish and Italian markets. New customers make inquiries through our website, for example, and it’s my job to establish contact. My day mainly consists of calling and messaging these Spanish and Italian clients, but they also regularly come to Vuren to view a vehicle."

"What makes my position as a Client Advisor so fun? I get the time and freedom to build and expand client relationships. This daily contact with clients is exactly why I enjoy going to work every day."

"It felt right immediately when I walked back in"

Pleasant Collaboration

"I was very sorry to leave Kleyn in 2009 due to circumstances. It was genuinely the best job I’ve ever had. I’m glad I got the chance to return 14 years later. It felt right immediately when I walked back in. The friendly, informal atmosphere and helpful colleagues make working here very pleasant. I have only limited technical knowledge of our vehicles, but with the help of our practical systems and colleagues, I can do my job well. Is the engine warning light on? A mechanic is happy to explain what’s going on. Is a car not starting? A groundskeeper will help immediately."

Challenging

"The Italian market is smaller than the Spanish one. When an Italian client contacts us, I find it a challenge to tell them who we are in their own language and, of course, to sell a car. Recently, we went to Italy ourselves and had our trade show container at the Transpotec exhibition in Milan. It was intense but very enjoyable to speak in Italian with so many potential clients for several days. When you speak the customers' language, you also notice that extra appreciation from them. I’d like to learn Portuguese so that I can do more business with Portuguese clients as well. Kleyn encourages this; they would prefer to give me this opportunity yesterday rather than today."
