A day as a mechanic
"As a Van Technician, my day always starts at 8:00 AM with a cup of coffee. Then, I go to Jurgen (Van Workshop Planner) for the tasks that need to be done. I receive my work order on my phone, and together with a colleague, we pick up the van. I then get the parts I need from the warehouse and start working. What do I enjoy doing the most? Replacing brake pads, aligning vans, and installing cameras, but I also enjoy performing maintenance services. I can do all of that here."

From Holiday Help to Permanent Technician
"For my first training, I did an internship in the Kleyn workshop. When I completed it, Jurgen asked if I wanted to keep working on Saturdays and during the holidays to tidy up the workshop, replace batteries, and do other tasks. Even during my second training, I continued working at Kleyn. I went to school on Mondays and worked here for the rest of the week as an Apprentice Technician. Now that my training is almost finished, I can stay here as a permanent technician."

Learning with a Smile
"What am I most proud of during my time at Kleyn? That I am about to earn my diploma as a second technician. I learn the theory at school, but I’ve learned the practice here. Experienced technicians have taught me the trade well, and I can always ask them for help. I’ve also passed all my practical exams on the first try! Moreover, we have great conversations and laughs together. That makes working at Kleyn so enjoyable."
