Branco, Financing Control

“Ensuring that everything is correct, from start to finish.”

Financing Control at Fynanch

"I officially started at Fynanch three years ago, but it actually began in 2020 with an internship in the administration department at Kleyn. After my internship, I was given a zero-hour contract and mainly dealt with invoices, including those for Truckparts1919. When I finished my studies, I started working here full-time. I enjoyed the administration itself, but I soon realized that just booking invoices wasn't quite right for me. I was looking for more variety. I found that at Fynanch, especially in the combination of administration, leasing, and rental."

"Working in a small, close-knit team where everyone can count on each other."

Versatile work

"My job title is Financing Control, but in practice I do many different things. As soon as a contract is finalized, it comes to me. I process the contract in the system, set up the lease and installments, and make sure everything is administratively correct. I also deal with maintenance planning, rentals, and investigating issues that aren't running smoothly. I particularly enjoy the investigative work, as long as it's not a standard routine. When I really dive into something to solve it, it gives me energy."

Damage claims and unexpected stories "A special part of my job is dealing with damage claims. That can be quite a hassle sometimes, but you also hear the most extraordinary stories. For example, someone drove into a client's company car on a Friday evening while under the influence, then simply left the car and walked away. These are the kind of situations that make you think: you don't experience this every day. It's precisely the quick response, the arranging everything, and the pressure that comes with it that makes this work interesting."

Working together in a close-knit team

"At Fynanch, we work with a small team and really rely on each other. We work closely together and everyone knows what the others are doing. Especially now that new colleagues have joined us, it is important that we are well attuned to each other. That makes for a pleasant working environment and ensures that everything continues to run smoothly."

Proud of Fynanch's growth

"What I am most proud of is where we are now with Fynanch. We have only been around for three years and started almost from scratch. When you see what Pieter and the team have achieved in that time, you can be proud of that. The variety in my work allows me to continue to develop myself, which makes Fynanch a great place to work for me, now and in the future."
