Your challenge

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague for our sales team in the Vans department. As a Senior Sales Representative, you are responsible for advising customers who walk into our company. You handle inquiries and actively search for new customers. We are looking for a fully independent sales representative who actively approaches both old and new customers and may have or build their own network. You manage an average portfolio of about 300 clients.

In this role, you are the first point of contact for our customers. The customers who come to us are mainly freelancers, owners of SMEs, and traders, both nationally and internationally, including car companies and dealers. You communicate with them, answer their questions, and provide expert advice on our products.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming our customers on-site.

  • Providing professional and timely advice about our vehicles and answering questions via phone and email.

  • Building long-term relationships with (potential) customers, ensuring they feel well-informed and ultimately purchase a product from us.

  • Keeping detailed customer notes and work processes in our CRM system.

  • Once a sale is completed, working closely with the sales and delivery departments to guide the customer further.

  • Proactively reaching out to potential clients to expand our export network.

Your team

You will work within a close-knit sales team of six sales representatives, with an average of 13 years of work experience. Together, we strive towards one common goal: selling as many vans as possible, with 5-star customer satisfaction! You will work from our office in Vuren, but occasionally you will also travel to visit major clients and further expand and maintain our export network.

The department is open from Monday to Saturday. Working on Saturdays alternately is part of the job. Naturally, you will have a fixed day off in return.

What do you bring?

  • At least an MBO-3 or 4 level, preferably with a commercial education.

  • Experience in a commercial role is required. Knowledge of vans is not necessary, but you must have an interest in our products and a desire to further develop in this area.

  • You have a customer-oriented attitude and communicate with customers worldwide. You speak fluent Dutch and English, German is a plus, as well as another foreign language.

  • You work in a structured manner and pay attention to detail.

  • You have experience with standardized work processes and ensure that tasks are completed on time. Specific knowledge of our CRM system is not required; we will gladly teach you.

  • You are generally computer literate and have typing skills.

  • Important qualities: perseverance, results-oriented, commercial insight, communication skills, and being a team player.

  • You have a valid driver’s license B.
