Job description

Welcome to the Kleyn Group!

Over the past 105 years, De Kleyn Group has grown into the leading partner in used trucks, trailers, vans, and parts. Working at Kleyn means being part of a team of professionals, each an expert in their own field. Together, we form a powerful unit driven to provide every customer—anywhere in the world—with the best possible solution to their mobility needs. That’s why we’re always curious about how things can be done faster, better, and smarter. Today, we also offer extended warranties and financing options, and we support our customers with smart digital solutions. We consistently go the extra mile for those who rely on our expertise.

Your challenge

Once a vehicle is sold, you step in. You ensure a flawless administrative handover: preparing all necessary documents and making sure they’re ready on time for delivery. You also conduct compliance checks—verifying that all documents meet current laws and regulations (including customs, RDW, and the Tax Authority). You assess whether the sale can proceed and report any irregularities or concerns to the compliance manager.

You carefully process all documents in our system so that relevant colleagues can access them. This includes requesting export license plates. You also handle shipments: preparing the required export and transport documents and finding the most suitable shipping company and route. Together with the Transport department, you ensure the vehicle arrives at the correct port on time. The world is our market—and you know how to get our vehicles to the customer.

Your team

You’ll be part of the Commercial Administration department (COMAD), a team of six enthusiastic colleagues who serve as the link between sales and final delivery. They handle all documentation related to a sale, including invoicing, compliance, export documents, license plate administration, and shipping. The department is always working to ensure smooth processes.

What do you bring?

  • Higher professional education level (HBO)

  • Affinity with administrative processes

  • Experience in compliance and/or as a customs declarant is a plus—but if you’re eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you

  • Reliability, accuracy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus

What do you get in return?

  • A pleasant working environment in a driven team where you’ll quickly feel at home

  • A no-nonsense culture where your input truly matters

  • A one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment

  • A competitive salary aligned with your role and responsibilities

  • A biannual bonus based on company performance and personal contribution

  • Opportunities for training, education, and personal development

  • A solid pension plan and 29 vacation days

  • Access to collective insurance options
