Job description

Welcome to the Kleyn Group!

At Kleyn Group, we focus on more than just commercial vehicles. We connect entrepreneurs with their perfect mobility solutions, a service we've been providing for 105 years in no less than 200 countries. With our global reputation, we now sell thousands of trucks, trailers, and vans each year.

We do this by ensuring that customers have the best possible experience when purchasing their vehicles, from the first click on the website to picking up their new vehicle. We take care of everything. Additionally, we inspect and repair many brands of trucks and vans daily in our own workshops. To transport efficiently and reuse parts, we also dismantle vehicles here.

Your challenge

Are you an expert in making precise diagnoses and enjoy the challenge of finding and fixing the cause of engine malfunctions? Then we have the perfect job for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to get their hands dirty in our Vans workshop. We have all the tools you need and a tidy workspace so you can get started right away. Every vehicle brings new challenges. With our used vans, you'll encounter a variety of issues. Your work involves not just replacing parts but also making repairs and performing diagnostics. In short, making sure the vans leave the workshop in better condition than when they arrived.

Your team and focus

You'll be part of the Vans (light commercial vehicles) workshop, working with 12 dedicated colleagues. Additionally, you're part of a large, friendly family business with about 150 other colleagues.

What you bring

  • You have a passion for (diesel) automotive technology;
  • At least a B driving license;
  • You're always willing to follow the necessary vocational training;
  • You're not afraid of getting your hands dirty;
  • You understand Dutch or are willing to learn it;
  • You're flexible, have a positive attitude, and love to get things done;
  • Certification as an authorized APK inspector is a plus.

What you can count on

  • A pleasant informal working environment in a close-knit team where you'll quickly feel at home;
  • A good salary that matches your skills and responsibilities;
  • A well-organized quarterly gathering with additional outings, parties, and drinks;
  • Regular work hours ensuring you’re home on time every day;
  • The opportunity to work on common European brands in our team;
  • A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
  • When the company and you perform well, a nice bonus awaits you;
  • At Kleyn, we encourage your growth by providing training and refresher courses (e.g., tachograph calibration, APK inspection, air conditioning, electric vehicles, etc.);
  • A good pension plan and 24 vacation days;
  • Access to collective insurance options;
  • The Kleyn Group adheres to the BOVAG-CAO for Motor Vehicles and Two-Wheeler Technology.
