As a buyer for trucks, trailers & vans, you are the vital link between Kleyn and our suppliers. You spot opportunities, build strong relationships, and know how to expand existing partnerships.

As a buyer at Kleyn, you will spend every other week traveling both domestically and internationally. Strong English communication skills are essential, and a basic knowledge of French is considered a plus.

🛠️ What will you do?

• Purchase vehicles across Europe
  You will source and purchase vehicles on various European markets, including the French market. You actively search for vehicles that fit our inventory strategy.

• Build and maintain relationships
  You develop and maintain a strong network of suppliers, dealers, transport companies, leasing companies, and traders.

• Negotiate and close deals
  You negotiate delivery terms, payment conditions, pricing agreements, and other commercial arrangements.

• Assess vehicles
  You perform initial vehicle inspections, either on-site or online, evaluating their visual and technical condition, maintenance history, mileage, and documentation.

• Collaborate with colleagues
  You work closely with the sales, transport, and product management teams to optimize stock levels, margins, and inventory turnover.

• Handle administrative processes
  You manage the entire purchasing process from A to Z, from acquisition to delivery. You also ensure that all related documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

👌 Who are we looking for?

• You are at least 18 years old;

• You hold a valid Category B driver's license;

• You have a commercial mindset and enjoy negotiating and relationship management;

• You are socially skilled and build long-term relationships with ease;

• You are proactive and take initiative;

• You have knowledge of, or a strong interest in, trucks, trailers, and vans;

• Experience as a buyer or salesperson is a plus, but not required;

• You are ambitious and eager to develop yourself within an international trading organization;

• You have a good command of English; basic French is an advantage;

• You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools;

• You are independent, results-oriented, reliable, and flexible;

• You are willing to travel internationally every other week.
